About Camp Solelim

FindCamps.ca is your source for finding camps for your child.

Solelim is a Jewish sleepover camp designed for teens completing grades eight and nine. Through exceptional programming, and tailored sports, art and waterfront activities, dedicated staff inspire campers to grow and be part of a community. At Solelim, our campers learn to be themselves, try new things, increase their independence and develop as leaders. Nestled in the forests and lakes of Ontario’s north, Solelim is where lifelong friendships are formed and where everyone belongs.

Frequently asked questions

How early should I register?
Popular sessions fill by early spring. Registering by April for summer programs is safest, but late availability is common — check each listing’s Register Now button.
What age range is supported?
Most camps in this directory accept children aged 5 to 17. A handful run programs for older teens and young adults (18–29). Use the age filter on the search bar to narrow down.
Are camp fees covered by any subsidy programs?
Several Canadian programs help with camp fees — Canadian Tire Jumpstart and provincial Healthy Kids initiatives are common. Ask each camp about their subsidy partnerships at registration.
What should my child pack?
Each camp publishes its own packing list. Common essentials: water bottle, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, swimsuit, and weather layers. Overnight camps usually send detailed lists after registration.
Can I visit before registering?
Most camps host open-house days in May or June. Contact the camp directly via the listing to schedule a tour or attend an info session.
What if I need to cancel?
Refund policies vary by camp. Most offer full refunds 4+ weeks before the session and partial refunds inside that window. Check the camp’s cancellation policy before paying the deposit.
